MORPHOGEN FAQ:

Q: Where are RedBubble located? I have never heard of them?

A: RedBubble are in Australia. They have all items printed as geographically close to the customer as possible (to reduce shipping charges, and carbon footprint) as they have contracts with various print shops around the world. So far, all the products ordered by Canadian customers have been printed in Canada! Yay!

Q: Do you use AI-generated graphics in any of your designs?

A: If you knew me, you wouldn't even need to ask that ;-)  I think that my opinion of AI-generated "art" is pretty obvious from my store profile: https://www.redbubble.com/people/morphogenca/shop#profile

Q: Are you ever going to give us sale prices, discount codes, etc.?

A: At this point, it looks like Redbubble does not support user-generated discount codes. I can't decide to have a sale on all my T-shirts, and/or give discount codes that apply to my store only.

However, Redbubble does sometimes have sales, eg: "20% off all T-shirt orders" that apply to all artists' products, and I will receive advance notice of these sales before they start..  That heads-up will be spread to you via various means, including possibly as blog-style posts on https://morphogen.ca which is still under development.

In fact, as of Apr 2, 2026, for five days... it's currently "20-40% OFF ALL PRICES IN THE STORE!" (except stickers, because they are already really cheap :-) ) That's including "30% OFF T-SHIRTS" so go to my Redbubble store quickly and save some money!

Q: Why is the design "Space Swirl" available only as a sticker?

A: long story ;-)  "Space Swirl" will be available as the other products soon!  If you really want this design on a different product, message me ASAP at info@morphogen.ca

Q: What would I do if I received defective/incorrect merchandise?

A: Redbubble does accept returns, so any issues with print quality or overall quality should be reported to them first, and they will send you a refund, not me!  I would still like to know about it though, so if it comes to that, please let me know at info@morphogen.ca exactly what was wrong with the product, and how the refund procedure went.

Q: You only have five designs showing, you slacker!   I hope you have more content coming! Some Redbubble stores have literally hundreds of designs!

A: Oh yes, lots more.  Stay tuned! Remember, buying existing designs encourages me to continue adding new ones ;-)

Q: Why are there only a few products available with your designs? Like, where are the tote bags? I know for sure that Redbubble makes them!

A: It takes a while to set up the files for each product, especially since I want each product to have the logo and the hashtags showing in a convenient place (eg: bottom corners) and just large enough to be read but not big enough to be obtrusive.   This requires a separate setup file for each product, and for each design.  Also, some products have a more complicated template than others.

At the moment, the only products that are enabled are:

  • premium T-shirts in various sizes
  • mouse pads (two sizes)
  • phone cases (various phones and case types available)
  • stickers (various sizes/types)
  • fridge magnets (various sizes)
  • spiral bound notebooks (in ruled lines or graph paper)

This list will continue to grow as I create new setup files.  (This list used to have four other items but Redbubble has unfortunately discontinued them)

Q: What other products on Redbubble are you considering?

A: At very least, the following:

  • standard print clothing (includes a wide range of possible things!)
  • T-shirts with larger graphics, going right up the shoulders
  • T-shirt dresses
  • throw pillows
  • tote bags
  • wall-mount prints, various sizes and styles
  • duvets / comforters
  • shower curtains
  • mugs
  • scarves
  • drawstring bags
  • hardcover journals
  • throw blankets
  • tapestries
  • bathmats
  • jigsaw puzzles
  • socks

If you have a specific request, let me know and I will set that one up sooner!

I will consider setting up other Redbubble products too, if there is a demand for them.  For a complete list of all the products that Redbubble makes, go to their website.  I can't find a page listing all products, but most of the top-level menu items lead to entire categories of products (eg: https://www.redbubble.com/g/clothing, https://www.redbubble.com/g/stickers, etc.

Q: Why are there no hemp shirts, or recycled plastic phone cases? That's the kind of thing we would expect from a tree-hugger like you, and yes I would pay a bit / a lot more for that!

A: In general, RedBubble doesn't seem to support a lot of those kind of options.  However, they are always adding new products to their repertoire. Also, there is nothing in my RedBubble contract to prevent me setting up other stores as well, and I could set up a store on any print-on-demand service that has reasonable to excellent product quality and half-decent tech support. ;-)  I am wide open to any tips /suggestions of such services!

Also: feel free to use this image, or these hashtags, if you feel strongly about the AI "art" issue!  Two of these hashtags are entirely of my own devising, as far as I know; the other two are not.
